Seattle/Portland update

uuuuuuuhhhh. Over 2,000$
I talked with the Milkman's Sister about my schedule. I may wait until the first few weeks of September when the prices drop. Usually I'd have to be in school, but that's "Sports festival" so there will be no English.
This means that I will sweat my brains out in city hall in August...but city hall doesn't take off for Obon festival, so I won't have to use my leave for those days!
This means that I will be somewhat stir crazy by September, but I am hoping that the few days I'll have in Kyoto withdivareneein the start of August will help take the edge off.
