I started downloading So You Think You Can Dance Australia, because I miss SYTYCD America.

I'm a few performance shows into it. It kinda sucks.

I might just stop.

Oh God, yes!

I've never seen the first season...and SYTYCD Au is pissing me off. The judges are losing the too nice vibe, but couples are showing prep for lifts, tricks and EVERYTHING and there is waaaaaaay too much fusion choreography which is failing because dancers out of their element should only have to focus on understanding ONE dance form, not two mashed together:

soul swing, contemporary disco, bollywood hip-hip, something something jive...

The contemporary disco choreographer got lightly spanked...but not hard enough!

And, AU just doesn't have the Krump specialists it needs.

One of the big prizes for the winner (just announced) is that they get to leave Australia for the US and work with US choreographers and instructors (and Mia Michaels!)
