Don't think the Japanese are above stealing other people's food and drink
from the staff fridge.

There is now a poster on the staff fridge. It is of me glaring over an empty
can of Red Bull and asking, in Japanese "Who drank my drink?!?!"

We had a problem like that at my work last year. Everyone's food in the fridge kept disappearing. It became so ridiculously bad, HR had to get threatening to get it to stop. Of course it never really stopped, it just slowed to an annoyingly normal level. Who does that?? (and people at my work are mostly professionals and paid at or above the going rate, so it's not like anyone's starving).

It's people... they tend to suck. Sorry for your loss.
