A lot of the dancers I like, don't have bios on their websites. I prefer factual stuff to fluffiness. And I prefer brief ones. I don't think most people bother to read ones that are longer than a page.

I don't care that you studied jazz when you were 4 or that you got straight As in biology. I don't care if your parents were in the military....unless you perform bellydance & jazz fusion, you have written a book called "Bellydance & Biology" and your studio currently based on a military base.

I couldn't see you being fluffy...and as a girl who usually is...I dislike "Ozma's audiences always praise her professional and spritely performances."

I think if you want to thrown in a testimonial it's ok as long as it's from someone reputable-a "name" or organization. I don't like "Mary from the audience says my dancing is "amazing!""

I think FAQs can be useful for stating something and wanting it to look a little less agressive...

I have home (brief bio), class, gallery, video, resume (this because a lot of festivals require resumes and it was easier to keep this way), student troupe, afet stuff, links,

I personally dislike live shots unless they are by a pro with good lighting. And I dislike candid shots. Just my preference. Post that shot of you and Dina on Facebook...
