This is a fair representation of what my daily life is like, at least during school festival time. First grade students find me as awe-inspiring as they would Mr. Depp*. And may I say, I am better at holding the "WTF, how long will this last? My GOD I am sleepy and disoriented. Japan...why do you do these things?" look at bay.
But, may I say, I work hard to make sure that my students are not rapid fire English spitting creatures like the children in the first 2 clips... instead that they know what they are saying and take their sweet time with those words if they must.
P.S. The Japanese don't understand that It's A Small World After All is generally known to be a song used only to torture adults.
*Today one of my first grade classes bum-rushed me after class so forcefully they knocked me back into my wheeled chair, pushing it until they pinned me a blackboard and all attempted to crawl aboard.
