Project: Misguided Jellyfish.

April 27th, 2009
In late April I went onto Bhuz, the international bellydance forum, and placed a post in the “In search of something” forum.
I talk a lot about how very basic sets can be spruced up, but I don’t really do much of that, do I? I make from scratch or do dress-to-costume conversions or buy used (and fix up where needed).
If anyone has a very basic set or perhaps even horrible Turkish/Egyptian airport special that they just want to get rid of but feel guilty about just throwing away/or feel that selling such an item isn’t going to fly in the economy/would be too humiliating to even admit that they once bought. I might be interested in paying for shipping to take it off your hands to see if I can make a documentable-blogable-teachable-wearable item of it. Basic Turkish sets a plus, so that Mish-mish can gloat if I end up having to write a blog about how ‘ffing wrong I was to ever defend them as fixer-uppers! I’d also be interested in doing “watch me trying to make crafty stuff from your butterfly tops.” Or “lost cause items you just can’t throw away”
