I taught 5 classes today, which is pretty busy. The first period I was free and my supervuisor called me from a FUNERAL to ask if I could bring the form my boss has already filled out to city hall after work because my boss wants to see it again.

I don't usually bring all my paperwork to SCHOOLS because I am busy teaching, but I had the new stuff because I planned to spend lunch looking it over. My supervisor said he'd personally come and pick me up...He was also inordinantly happy to hear I wouldn't need his help, as I thought I might, to contact moving places and arange a consultation visit.

I assume my boss is freaking out.

Then, while I was teaching my last class of the day my supervisor called me from city hall, four times, to tell me it'd be ok if I brought everything tomorrow, when I was planning to, when I am at city hall....four times, as if I don't have things to do when I am teaching A CLASS and WTF is with the panic level?

They are making me sick. I feel like a beloved boyfriend has just told me "we need to talk" but won't tell me what about.

My supervisor is driving me crazy with specific questions about where my apartment is located. He also vetoed telling the police that I will be moving next month because he's afraid the police will stop patroling and terrible things will happen to me between then and now...WTF?

I have removed the listing papers from all the forms...because I am getting paranoid. My place is cheap...it is what Tof pays for his gaijin house room...but I think they'll just see all the space and think I am some crazy, selfish, luxury ho...never mind the price.

I found a place. A great place. Lower risk. Same price. I and fucking moving so everyone stops freaking out, but I didn't expect that doing what people were urging me to do, and taking my boss at his words (We are all here to help you with this) would mean a BIGGER level of freak-out for them. THIS IS WHAT YOU ALL WANTED. I AM THE ONE PAYING MONEY AND GOING THROUGH0 THE STRESS OF MOVING.

Fuck ya'll motherfuckers.

For anyone planning to send a care package after I move (a few of you have mentioned doing so) Mrs.N deserves major thanks for her work in the move and back when I had medical issues.

She desires unshelled, salted, sunflower seeds. Really. I'll chip in if need be but they aren't available in japan

Well, I do still enjoy teaching and working with teachers. It still can lift me out of awesome funks.

I'm still seeing how flexible and great doing this communcation style is. The last week I scored by when an English speaking half-Egyptian student went home and told her grandma how much I rocked, because she's usually so bored in English...and that grandma met me Friday and spread the word... and yet the same style of lesson worked today when I got a surprise of the addition of four special needs students (with two helpers) in one class.

I know I wouldn't have the friendship of Mrs. N, and her help, if she hadn't loved my teaching style.

And, as some forth-grade girls told me today, I have an amazing smile when I teach.
