You know what sucks?

I shattered a light fixture in my kitchen yesterday while playing with a new veil. Glass everywhere. The force of it sent some of the shards into my bedroom.

Now, the kitchen mess was pretty easy to clean up...I even lint rolled it (because this is a no shoes indoors place.)

That's not the sucky part. The suck is about my bedroom. Tatami mats.  Tatami mats already glitter impregnanted by many costumes. There is no good way to get tiny shards out of tatami mats.

It was my hand that did it, but veils are perfectly capable of grabbing objects and throwing them across the room.

Nope. They are each attached to sort of Tatami-mat-backing-blocks. Hard to describe.
