the bra and the skirt seemed mismatched to me, the bra was bigger than the skirt called for, but that may have been because of the ruching? in any case, I really liked the construction of the bra, it had a regular lingerie bra tacked in that she may or may not have removed. the skirt was about an inch to short for me, I'm the stocky body, long legs type, my skirts are at the minimum 37 inches long, this skirt hit at my ankles, so I'd say it's about 35 inches, the skirt is a belt skirt in one, but doesen't really have much in the way of belt area decoration. That having been said, I love the design, inverted triangles with flar in the bottom area, but not like a mermaid skirt, more A line.

Color varies between mauve and cotton candy pink, hence the name. I like you in more vibrant colors.

This doesn't have that.

Then again, i don't think I've seen you in something not vibrant? These color tones run more to pastel-y colors.

So, design a win, the costume itself is a win, but how do you feel about your skin tone in pastels?

And, for the record, I think you'd rock ANYTHING.

I think the muted mauves would work for me. I shy away from pastels but know I can do the ones with red/pink undertones.
