It was Artie's. It was given to my near-body-double Bernie (who has purchased three costumes from me...including defugged and the Fire costume)...there was some difficulty with getting renovations done on it...sounds a mess from both sides of that story.... Bernie was going to have me fix it but worried it might still not work.

So I'm buying it at a discount and have promised to sell it to her for the price I paid once I've fixed it up and worn the hell out of it!

Sweeeet, I was hoping someone I knew would buy it. Three--three!!--old dance pals who lurk on bhuz emailed me about it to reminisce, because it reminded them of the quality and style we used to take for granted.

SCORE.

It's not really like it at all, but it kind of reminds me of Gendi's "Firebird" costume, which was her Great Project in my, hmm, second year of dance maybe? It had no sequins on it at all, only red beading, and a lycra skirt with integrated belt, and cutouts. And a cape.
