So last night rocked.
It was worth the hang-over troll that sat behind my right eyeball as did communication time with senior citizens today.
Yesterday I got an e-mail from Aziza asking if I wanted to hang out. I sat, bouncing, at my desk until I could form a reply that was better than "OMG of COURSE yeah You so COOL golly (drool)!"
I'd also been planning to see Eshe that night, so I checked Eshe's schedule, and then checked with Aziza that bringing others would be cool.
Cool.
Cool.
I met Eshe at Devidasi studio as Anaan's class was wrapping up. They two of us went to get Aziza and took her to Shimokitazawa for fine food and ambiance at Mother's Ruin. While there we ran into the owner and she made sure her husband (our good friend Neil/DJ B.Krishta) knew we were there and joined us.
It was great to just hang out...and talk shop and drink mohitos and mint sours.. We tried not to be too voyuristic as we got the details of what it is like to talk shop when you're in Aziza-league levels of things..
She was aces, brilliant, and wonderful as always. Her advice for Eshe and myself was tailored to each of us and MAN was it invaluable.
Talking to her was one of those times that I admitted, out loud, that I do have the drive to try to make my bellydance world and reach larger than it currently is.
