parasitegirlI keep writing for LJ at work (where I can't access lj)….but forgetting to bring it home to post.
Tomorrow I dance live to the music of Sharkiroma with fellow dancers Sali and Shala.
It's been an exciting month so far. I've gone from the absence of restaurant and regular shows in the 6 months after the quake...to what is looking to be my busiest month in dance this year. Last week heralded my return to restaurants, when I got a last minute call from Ancyra in Saitama. Felt good.
Current tally for expected October events:
5 classes a week.
2 restaurants (Ancyra and Konya).
1 studio party (Deseos)
1 studio show as a special guest (Mona's school)
1 outdoor performance for a studio (Eva-Belly Matsudo)
1 live band show (Sharki Roma)
First 2 workshops as a teacher (Borboleta studio).
I think I've been pacing myself well enough. Next Tuesday I'll be using my lessons as a way to run-through a truncated version of my upcoming workshops.
Soon I'll be climbing into bed extra early to read and relax. My muscles need that more than they need to run through the music. I am all packed for the show but tomorrow morning I'll do the last minute tweeking of what I'm teaching in my 3 classes.
