Dear Ginger Ale,
I am sorry for the years I spoke poorly of you. Today you and my new friend, Mr. Saltine Crackers, are soothing my roiling innards. I wish there were more of you around my apartment, but my one trip outside today has taught me that I am not going anywhere without audible gurgles and waves of nausea.

Dear Japan,
I feel vulnerable enough already. I do not appreciate being ripped from my afternoon sleep, my naked-naked nap, by a #3 earthquake. You always wait until I am naked!
